Quebec-based Vosker engaged Branded with two goals: announce $125 million in debt financing and launch the company’s new VKX security camera. In both cases the company sought the goal of not only generating brand awareness in Canada but also the key U.S. market. On the product side, Vosker needed VKX featured in the most influential consumer tech publications to establish trust in the product. 

Strategy

Branded leveraged its relationships with the most prominent tech and business writers, ultimately securing coverage in Bloomberg for the debt financing announcement then additionally secured widespread coverage across a series of key publications. Pre-pitching VKX units under embargo was key to achieving Vosker’s product goals and saw feature content in prominent tech and security publications in addition to reaching key B2B partners.
